Modern Slavery Statement

Added on 2nd March 2026

This Modern Slavery Statement is published in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It sets out the steps taken by the Ardens to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking within our business and supply chains.

We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing proportionate systems and controls to minimise the risk of modern slavery.

  1. Our organisation, business and supply chains

Ardens operates in UK Primary Care providing clinical decision support and data analytics. Our workforce is UK based and comprises employed staff and a limited number of contractors and consultants.

Our supply chains are also largely UK‑based and include:

  • Professional and advisory services

  • Software and IT service providers

  • Facilities, office and business support services

  • Recruitment agencies

While we do not routinely operate in high‑risk sectors or geographies, we recognise that modern slavery can exist in any supply chain.

  1. Policies on modern slavery and human trafficking

We have a zero‑tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. Our commitment is set out in our Modern Slavery Policy, which applies to all employees, contractors, suppliers and those working on our behalf.

This is supported by related policies and processes, including recruitment and employment controls, whistleblowing arrangements, grievance procedures, and supplier and contract management processes.

  1. Due diligence processes

We operate proportionate due diligence processes to identify and mitigate modern slavery risks, including:

  • Right‑to‑work and pre‑employment checks for all staff

  • Robust recruitment processes and use of reputable recruitment agencies when required

  • Supplier onboarding and contractual requirements to comply with applicable modern slavery legislation

  • Clear reporting and escalation routes for suspected concerns

Suppliers are expected to notify us promptly of any actual or suspected modern slavery within their operations or supply chains.

  1. Risk assessment and management

The risk of modern slavery within our direct operations is considered low due to our UK‑based workforce and professional service focus. Potential risk areas include indirect support services for facilities.

We manage these risks by working with trusted suppliers, encouraging transparency, and investigating and escalating any concerns to senior management and, where appropriate, the Board.

  1. Effectiveness and monitoring

We monitor the effectiveness of our approach through proportionate measures such as:

  • Review of reported concerns or incidents

  • Compliance with employment and recruitment controls

  • Supplier assurance and contract management activity

  • Periodic review of policies and governance arrangements

Findings are reviewed by senior management and inform continuous improvement.

  1. Training and awareness

We ensure staff are aware of modern slavery risks and their responsibilities through policy awareness, role‑appropriate guidance, and access to whistleblowing arrangements. Training and awareness activity is proportionate to role and risk.

  1. Approval

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of The Modern Slavery Act (2015) and approved by the Board of Directors on behalf of Ardens Health Informatics Limited and its subsidiaries. It will be reviewed annually.
